The Return of Henrique Oliveira

House of the Arts focuses this week on Sculptor and Painter based out of Sao Paulo, Brazil, Henrique Oliveira. Oliveira creates amazingly huge sculptures/installations pieces out of hundreds of pieces of wood and PVC pipes. As grotesque as these sculptures/installations my seem, the size and aestheticsintrigues viewes by inviting them to view its details as well as the research on the meanings behind them.
