There is so much more to this individual than what meets the eye. Born and grown in St. Elizabeth, Jamaica to musical parents this 30 year old creative soul waited seven long years before he launched mainstream. His easy going, laid back attitude is reflected in his lyrics and persons seem to love his musical style as Protoje has racked up a good amount of fans in a very short space of time. A child of the 80’s wishing he was born in the 60’s, Protoje (Oje Ollivierre) is the now a household name with the freshest lyrical delivery, combining a feel of vintage reggae music which proves to be a very suitable, necesssary update for the present time.
